Tongue plane made by Cesar Chelor
Cesar Chelor, American, 1720 - 1784
A wooden tongue plane. There is evidence of older dents, abrasions, and scratches, but the plane has a dark stain disguising the damage from past use. There is a crack at the base of the stock's toe. In relief on toe is [CE*CHELOR / LIVING*IN / WRENTHAM].
